This is why Lisa Jane Design exists
When my mum, June, passed away in December 2024, I painted her essence—not just her portrait, but her story.
A 4x4 piece on natural wood, in her favorite blues and golds. Across it, I brushed “Love you more” in gold leaf, just as she always said. In the corner, her fingerprint—our permanent connection.
The hospice gave each of us a butterfly as a reminder. It felt like her way of saying, “I’m still with you, but now I’m free.”
Before she died, she made me promise to chase my dream of creating meaningful art.
In May 2025, I left my teaching job to honor that promise.
Now, I create legacy art for families who want to preserve what matters most.
Each piece is hand-painted on wood, layered with hidden symbols and secret messages that tell your story.
I take only three commissions at a time—because your story deserves the same care, time, and love I gave to my mum.

My fascination with solving design problems radiates from everything I touch, good design.
